This year the new edition of the CES in Las Vegas will be entirely virtual, the event which must of course comply with health rules will not be canceled, but will have to reinvent itself, it will therefore take place in digital form from January 6 to 9, 2021.
The CTA (which organizes the CES) released the following statement from their president, Gary Shapiro.
“Technology is helping us all to work, learn and connect during the pandemic - and these innovations will also help us reinvent CES 2021. By moving to a fully digital platform for 2021, we can deliver a unique experience that helps our exhibitors connect with new and existing audiences.”
This is the perfect opportunity to create the future of international trade fairs. The CTA’s statement captures the radical change coming to the event this year, “ CES 2021 will be a new immersive experience where attendees will have a front row seat to discover and see the latest technologies. ”
As for Asus, very little information has leaked on the possible presentations of new products, but if we were to wager, the presentation of the new version of the Zephyrus Pro Duo SE (GX551Q) which will integrate the new Intel Core Tiger Lake-H processor seems like a good bet.
With 48 GB of DDR4 RAM, including 16 GB of DDR4 soldered directly to the motherboard and 32 GB included in DDR4 SODIMM slots ... with a power consumption of 280W.
As for gaming accessories, the Falchion mechanical keyboard, presented this summer , may make a small appearance at the Asus booth. This small compact 2.4GHz wireless keyboard features a minimalist 68-key layout and incorporates the Aura Sync RGB lighting system. Some of the outstanding features of this keyboard include an interactive touchscreen, keyboard case, Cherry MX switches and up to 400 hours of battery life.
Another possible product that may be presentated at CES is the next ROG Delta headset model in its S version.
This new version will integrate a high-end DAC (Digital Analog Converter) which will allow an analog conversion between the digital source and the amplifier.
If in the meantime any information should come to light, we will be sure to come back and let you know.
