The controller card allows you to control the different ports of your pc and allows your computer to communicate with other devices, such as a hard disk for example. The controller card thus manages the inputs / outputs and the operation of the device associated with it (USB sticks, external hard disk, CD player, etc.).

Here's the procedure to follow :
- Bring a small Phillips screwdriver and a sharp pointed knife
- Put yourself in front of the different defective devices
- Using the point of your knife, remove the cache containing the USB ports
- Your controller board is connected to a ribbon (wide and flat wire), unplug it by pressing on the small tip now connected to the controller board
- Unmount the damaged card from the cache and replace it with your new controller card
- Reconnect the ribbon to this new card, and then reseat the cache to its original position
