You are part of the large community of Asus users and you probably have a problem with your controller card, whether it is a RAID controller, USB, Jack, IO or an ignition card (power card).
Various cases are possible concerning the electrical failure of this card, but in general it has been damaged as a result of a surge or electrical damage; your card may be in good condition, but one or more ports may not work any more. Changing only one port turns out to be a very delicate mission due to the tiny welds, so it's much more interesting to change the entire map.
Fortunately for you, Asus was initially a manufacturer of motherboards and spare parts, which allowed it to acquire great capacities and knowledge in terms of innovation and performance, but especially to propose to all of its customers its spare parts and components to allow all users to repair or change the defective parts of their Asus laptops and keep the full use of their laptops.
The controller card allows you to control the different ports of your pc and allows your computer to communicate with another device, such as a hard disk for example. The controller card thus manages the inputs / outputs and the operation of the device associated with it (USB sticks, external hard disk, CD player, etc.).
Asus Accessories allows you to replace the controller board of your Asus laptop, with a wide range of cards for all different series and models of Asus laptops (X555, TP300, F501, K756, etc.). You will find various controller cards, you want a card only with audio ports, ports jacks, USB ports, an SD card slot, etc. But you can also find IO controller cards, which they associate the different ports of your computer on a single piece; it all depends of course on the port layout on your computer.
