Power DC Power: Connects your computer to the power outlet via your charger (there are several types of tips of different shapes and sizes).
USB 3 (Type A) Port : 3rd generation USB port (Blue). This allows you to connect devices that do not require much power like a USB key, external SSD hard drive, keyboard, printer, scanner…with a transfer rate of 4 GB/sec it is 10 times faster than a USB 2 connector.
Mini Display Port: This port will allow you to connect to a separate monitor or to a home entertainment system.
VGA Port: This port will allow you to connect to a separate monitor or to a video projector.
USB 3 (Type C) Port: Same as USB 3 (Type A) Port EXCEPT the connector is smaller.
Mini HDMI Port: This port allows you to connect your computer to an AV source (Audio Visual) like a Blu-ray player, a separate computer, HD television, Video projector, home theatre, or VR headset.
Audio / Mic Jack: This port allows you to connect a headset (audio) and/or microphone to your computer.
SD card reader: This port allows you to connect an SD card (several formats of SD cards exist: SD, Mini SD or Micro SD, depending on your format you will need an adapter before connecting your card to the computer).
USB 2 port: 2nd generation USB port (black), it allows you to connect devices that consume less energy such as a USB key, an external hard drive SSD, a keyboard, a printer, a scanner ... Its transfer rate of 480 Mbit / s (10 times slower than a USB 3 connection).
RJ45 port: This port allows you to connect your computer to internet (wired - Ethernet connector)
